We dogs in Eastbourne are very fortunate, we have a premium indoor shopping centre that welcomes us in.

The management at The Beacon Shopping Centre have stated that banning dogs is ‘unecessary and antiquated’. They are so right. Most of us are well behaved, with responsible owners, and it makes life so much easier for a lot of peeps if they can take their doggies shopping with them.

Since deciding to open up their doors to us Beacon staff have been very pro-active and have vigorously encouraged the businesses there to be dog friendly. The result is that most of the shops in the Beacon allow us in. Some even have dog treats behind the counter! There is a full list of the dog friendly businesses in the Shopping section.

The Beacon also hosts a dog friendly workspace. The Foundry is a dog friendly office space. Humans can rent space in a a co-working lounge, a private office or a dedicated desk. All spaces are completely dog friendly and people are encouraged to bring their dogs along to work with them. They even arrange things like dog photo shoots every now and then!
